My story

Growing up my mother had and obsession with photos. It seemed like she had a picture for every moment of my life. My father's family is abundant, and every time I visit Florida - a new photo has a story to tell. While an adolescent I never understood the importance of these photos, but today I cherish each and every one.

I believe it's so important to document your life in a meaningful way. After I graduated high school in 2017, I bought my first DSLR camera. I met with friends and family and shot hundreds of photos just for fun. I met with many incredible mentors and started to consider branching out after attending North Carolina State University. I dived deep into the world of portraits and eventually discovered my own style of photography. Simple and candid moments that don't feel forced with vibrant, punchy and moody edits. Just like my childhood memories.


It's not about the highest megapixels or the perfect poses. Rather the emotion and the organic memories of your story that matter most. I've learned that when I prioritize those candid moments, the photos turn out more meaningful than anything I could have directed.
